$W aims for further decentralization and stakeholder diversity. Holders will be able to delegate their tokens in order to later vote on Wormhole governance proposals.

• Initial Circulating Supply: 1.8B $W tokens in ERC20 and SPL formats across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base.

$W serves as both a native Solana SPL token and an ERC20 token, enabling multichain transfers via Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT).
